You can do that by investing in public companies and becoming a shareholder. It just so happens that one of the leading companies in open source AI and humanoid robots, Tesla, is a public company and you can own shares in it.
What I am worried about are private companies like "OpenAI" which are not open sourced at all, they are closed source.
