You're right that current AI has real limitations - it makes mistakes and generates plausible-sounding nonsense, and testing it on familiar topics quickly reveals where it breaks down. That said, "vomits words out" undersells what's happening; there's meaningful pattern recognition and reasoning going on, even if it's not human-like thinking. The real issue is the gap between marketing hype and reality - AI is surprisingly good at some things and bafflingly bad at others, but it always sounds confident, which leads to blind trust. The term "Artificial Intelligence" might be debatable, but it's definitely oversold. These systems are useful tools that work best when users verify important claims and approach outputs with healthy skepticism.
