@41-Haiku Why would an AI outmaneuver humanity, if it has no consciousness, thoughts, goals, needs etc..It could certainly be used by other humans to achieve that eventually, as the OP suggests and that's the real worry here. Not the AI itself. A chess AI still has to be told the rules and its purpose i.e. to 'win' the game - the purpose was created by humans. Current AI is NOT trained to beat humanity, nor does it understand the concept, but humanity may train it to do just that.
