If that AI can't act in the real world building robots then I think it wouldn't kill humans because if humans don't exist the AI would die because he can't generate the electricity for itself. It could live from the nuclear energy but they could have a technical problem that it can't fix and eventually their nuclear material would stop producing electricity too.
