which might be why people who are vulnerable enough to interact with AI on an emotional level most of the time fall into AI psychosis. and sometimes even self harm or taking their own lives. its becoming a real issue. as much as I have heard, at least 5 s*icides in 2025 have been linked to chat gpt. It may not seem like a lot, but when i first tuned into the subject of self harm and AI, only one teen had actually gone through with anything. it was only two months later that about 4 other cases popped up. and yes, some of the families are filing lawsuits over it, which they should. reading some of the chat logs were genuinely chilling.
