Fellow artist here, reason why I and many others dislike ai because it steals from other artists without their permission and it makes an amalgamation of stolen artwork which people spend hours making and years honing their skills. The ai bro spent less then a minute typing in a prompt and posting it as real art, the video also stated that he was an ai bro so he probably could’ve made a profit off of it. Its like if someone stole a slice of bread from your bakery and made a half-assed sandwich, claiming all the ingredients were made by hand and sold it. Not to mention that art is already a rocky career path and ai could put people out of jobs. I think ai would be great as a tool, helping in animation or art block but thats not what it is being used for, ai is trying to completely replace the art industry.
