@RawrxDev First... Yeah, the point of the comparisons... I'm not going to say "Oh yeah, compare AI to vacuum cleaner sales from the 1980s. It all makes sense when you think about it like that." The whole point of comparing these that aren't different is to point out the logical conclusion: People fight change because it creates inequalities/unfairness, while opening up barriers and improving life for EVERYONE. AI is just the modern manifestation of that.
Second: 'Other could say your gonna be on the side of the 50's magazine claiming in 10 years we'll have flying cars, robot pets and moon houses.'
How? That doesn't even make sense. I'm not arguing we WILL have things in 10 years... We have AI NOW and people are fighting it. If you want to put me on the 'bad side of history', you could say I am like the people in the 1950s supporting eugenics science, like Margaret Sanger. Those practices was rightfully ostracized and dismissed for the most part.
