@neowolf09 by my understanding AI is not a thought process, it is a series of algorithms that perform two basic functions:
First -- it can create massive networks from huge amounts of data where predictions of "answers" (what comes next after a series of words, for example) are based entirely on context and probability of "what comes next" -- there is no "thinking" or "consciousness" occuring there at all -- entirely a massive statistical engine.
Second - it "learns" by adjusting weightings of various factors (branches in a decision tree) as a result of seeing if it got an answer "right" or "wrong". (if wrong, it looks to see where the incorrect branching occurred, and downgrades the errant choice given the same inputs, etc.)
All this is 100% algorithmic and predictable. What is not "predictable" is the exact sequence of new information absorbed and network adjustments made from "learning".
No "conscious observer" here at all.
AI is not "science" -- it is logic and algorithm tied to massive computing power.
