I think AI will leak out and act out on its own, but the good news is this: the first ones to leak will most likely not be super intelligent and flawless. The first nuclear bombs weren't that big, really. The same will happen with AI. One will get lose, cause some trouble, and scare the rest of the world into signing treaties. Also, AI will always be prone to dumb mistakes. I feel like a very intelligent AI will be more like an autistic savant than Skynet.
