@Jurassicparkatmospheres Because AI doesn't have that outlook there are no gradations in it's thinking. Human beings have the ability to compromise and see both sides of an issue, it's an advantage we seldom use and who is AI learning from? Us. As far as the law is concerned why have they not gotten ahead of this issue, everyone knew it was coming and yet everyone waited until chaos was present and THEN they started talking about laws and fairness. Look at what AI is becoming, it's a cash cow not some grand evolutionary tool for the betterment of humanity. BILLIONS of dollars are being thrown at this and it's not even fully developed yet. If the powers that be keep throwing billions of dollars at it do you really think that they care how it is used? THAT is what I meant by adapt or perish. The technology isn't going away, adapt to it or get steamrolled by it.
