@ The difficulty of wrangling the AI makes it even less artistic IMO. It means that the human has even less actual control over the end result of the artwork. When an editor creates a remix, rewrite, or video edit, every minute change is their own. The product of an AI artwork, even one that the prompter spent hours of trial and error reprompting, will still be full of details they never intended because of how much of the actual art is the purview of the AI. Editing was a bad comparison because editors actually create the edits themselves, it’s more like an extremely picky critic or customer, constantly suggesting changes but not making them themselves.
