@TheSuperRatt It's realistic, not misanthropic. It's incredibly naive to think you can simply withdraw yourself from the arms race and just trust that everyone on the planet is philanthropic enough to leave you alone. Libya and Ukraine are two great examples of this. Both had nukes, both agreed to disarm in exchange for peace with global superpowers, and both were invaded by those same global superpowers within a decade or two.
Regardless, this isn't even my point with AI. My point is that you can train AI to catch and flag misinformation from other AI. Unless you consider your spam inbox in your email to be an attack on scammers, I think you can agree that this isn't about attacking anyone. It's about self-defense.
