I agree. I would love to hear what these brillant people have to say about this topic of highest importance. But Mr. Hinton’s statements shown in the intro make it impossible for me. He is much smarter than me and knows much more about the topic, but I don’t believe he shares his knowledge objectively without an agenda. It is simply not the case that there is an AI that developed the emergent behavior to hide its own potential. Please link me the paper, if I am mistaken.
