That sounds exactly like what a cult guru says to skeptics. Not that I'm implying you're a cult guru - but if the message doesn't work on a lot of smart people it may just mean that it doesn't prove anything.
Personally I find it less than relevant because LLMs don't reason or think or even come close, so it seems pretty specious to speculate over whether they'll want this or that or the other 'when' they do. Not enough information data to make it worthwhile let alone predict total annihilation. Let's focus on how they are dangerous NOW.
