Not true. I am not an artist and I value artists and art tremendously. Artists other than my closest friends and family are the only people who make me feel better every day, I follow a lot of you guys. However, you'd be right to say that most people clearly don't. The crazy and unbelievable thing is that despite you doing your best to nail everything whether it's anatomy, perspective, color theory, storytelling, composition, people simply do not care and they'd be fine with art that's built on top of literal vague shit if it contains some pretty rendering. They don't care about artifacting, asymmetry, trash anatomy, contorted hands, nonsensical backgrounds. But there are still people out there who truly do care.
Might sound rude, but most people might actually have cattle brains, and this whole AI thing only reaffirms the thing that the internet already revealed to me a decade ago and it keeps reaffirming it to me harder and harder with each passing year: most people suck, they have low social intelligence, they're lacking in empathy and they are painfully stupid. Basically, the worst case scenario.
