i believe the people that think ai generated images have the same merit as something hand drawn are idiots, and quite frankly they're not that many, but there is merit to a good ai image. there is merit to using the right models, training your own image models if needed, using the right prompts and noticing the glaring issues and fixing them up. while this all pales in comparison to what a fully hand drawn piece (or even a good photo) requires, there's some human element there.
