It's an incredibly silly war. If artists are successful it will only result in the death of fair use and artistic freedom. But most artists aren't smart enough to really think about the actual ramifications.
Best case scenario you might get compensation out of a class action lawsuit, but only for the most popular and used artists. But that won't stop the AI revolution. Good luck stopping whatever Google Skynet is working on. They already have all that data you willingly gave them.
