Interesting take! Do you have any links/sources for "research is beyond GPT5"? It might be, I'm not sure, but we certainly haven't trained it yet I don't believe.
Self-driving vehicles are a vertical AI though, not AGI. I think AGI poses a much greater threat than a self-driving car.
