@BirdsNation I don't disagree. The state is not in all cases a benevolent actor. It is the closest thing we currently have to 'all of us'.

My thing is, AI is theft. Programmers happily share their knowledge already on all sorts of platforms but when it comes to artists, it's a different question. AI should give back, nationalising it and the profits of AI is one way to do it but the US government is not the right state to do it.
I like Bernie, but I only hear marginal measures in this bit. Everything will be turned on its head by AI, especially after the singularity. Bernie isn't ready for that, we aren't ready for that.
