1 of 2 scenarios is going to happen.
1. Billionaires and the mega rich want to hold on to their societal advantage for as long as possible and refuse the neccesary social safety nets that will be needed once the coming unemployment disaster occurs due to AI. The public clearly wont stand for that. Full scale revolt happens and i an guessing military servicemen and women wont be keen on using weaponry on their neighbors, family and friends to appease the rich.
2. The proper safety nets and social programs are put into place allowing all of society to partake in the fruits of the AI boom. Over time, I have no clue how this will eventually play out, but I like this path MUCH more than the former.
