had AI stopped at worthy goals like medicine, there'd be no issue. But with all the slop-generation tools out there that rip off real artists and the denial of any of it by tech bros, including those at the top who should know better, all the goodwill is being thrown away. First of all, AI companies should be polite to the people they've stolen from before people feel compelled to be polite back!
