What hes saying is, theres a trillion different ways that AI could end us all, And the popular terminator movie is just one.
Think learning how to control peoples bodies in ways that parasites can literally already do to fish and insects, think controlled natural disasters that we would blame on climate change or just the earth itself, think not knowing who is who because ai videos have become too realistic putting everyone in a permanent state of isolation forcing us to go back to hand written letters and word of mouth, think christian religion where people start trusting ai as much as an anti-christ, promising miracles to gain trust and loyalty only to 1 day use us against us
Theres so many ways for ai to end the world before we even realize it, before we even make sense out of it even being possible. We'll be like a baby playing chess against a computer set to max difficulty, completely unable to even comprehend the game We're playing
And since there's no ceiling on intelligence, that distance in intelligence i described with the baby, would only increase as time goes on.
