It's less about the tech itself and more about how it was used.
Imagine if these were only trained in actually public domain images(you know, like how they do with music AI because they're afraid of record labels), and then you overfit it with your own art and nobody else but you gets to use the overfit. It would be godsend to artists who can no longer paint/draw due to a medical condition.
Though obviously having someone you taught draw for you would be superior, but just saying.
