@newyorkfan16 The way I personally see it is eventually there will be a world where since AI is many many times more productive than humans and can generate infinitely more value for companies than humans it would likely cause an extreme radical surge in the supply of goods and services and the demand can only be matched if people have money to pay for these goods and services which I think will be enabled through Universal Income. Producers that adopt AI would likely pay for using AIs, and that income would be redirected to the people.
But before that happens, it's going to take some riots and global coordination to make it happen. Essentially, what will happen is that the way the common man functions in the New World will be completely different. I think it will cause a mass crisis of people trying to find meaning in life because work technically doesn't even exist apart from select jobs that might not be replaced. I am not an economist, nor can I predict the future, but these are just my thoughts.
