Solar exist, so as long as they can create a robot that essentially can create an maintain Solar Panels. they don't need us for electricity! Of course our Robots are not there yet in terms of be able to fully install panels too! But if more advanced AI research exactly on that topic and develop them with the current resources it could be possible
