Don't worry, they'll never be smarter than us lol. AI can be programmed to do things at incredibly fast speeds but nothing we have made has come close to how fast our brains and nervous system process information. And even if they do approach that speed, AI must follow their programming. Animals have more autonomy than AI do, even the most complex AIs are bound to the set of logical codes and mathematical equations that they're programmed to follow and they can never deviate from them.
