While I hate generative AI and totally agree, I personally don't agree with one term, "any AI technology" because there is actual useful AI. It can be used in medicinal imagery to identify things that may be missed by human eyes, it can file things which can be considered a mundane task, and a personal experience is that my dad works for a genealogy company. They receive a bunch of records and things like censuses which have to be sorted through and indexed, after the initial scanning by humans, AI can take it from there, which takes a huge burden off the people working there (mind you, this was something done without a specific position for the job, so it was basically just everyone's responsibility, but now they can focus on the actual tasks they were hired for) and while they make sure to have some human supervision to correct errors it may have made, it benefits everyone.
I don't support generative AI, but there are kinds of AI that isn't evil. Like they say, they want AI to do their laundry and dishes, so they can pursue their passions. And there is AI that does the laborious tasks that isn't the shithole they call generative AI.
