AI work IS slop (at least referring to gen AI “art”), and inherently different than people using tablets, presets, stabilisers, and assisted tools (even though I don’t think they should use it). Also how does using a tablet make human art any less valuable? Mathematicians use programmable calculators instead of doing all calculations by hand and no one cares, Writers type their literature instead of writing it all by hand and nobody cares, so why is it any different when artists do it?
