I think that eventually they will begin to correct for this by attempting to omit AI generated content. This would likely result in performance plateauing, if it hasn't already. The irony is that attempts to push mediocre models into the mainstream may pollute and stifle creation of new data which could be used for training models to the point that it may sabotage future efforts. New models will likely require novel approaches towards inferencing instead of simply context mapping.
