@Connorses Yeah, that's another interesting parallel you probably posit between evolution and AI. It can solve problems in ways that we can't, but it's probably doing it in a way that's overly complex.
There's a whole thing about optimizing AI to get them to accomplish the same goal much more efficiently because there's a decent chance it has a bunch of random crap sitting on the side that just isn't really that helpful. But that's hard to do when you don't actually know what it's doing in the first place.
And all that extra unnecessary complexity just adds to our inability to parse what it is that it's doing.
