I will accept the role of Handler for the merger though. Ensuring their quality of life is adequate, and their tenure consensual.
It seems natural that human will have to merge with AI at some point. I can’t pretend to know what that looks like, but I can see a first person who needs real humanity to ensure they aren’t entrapped and disposable.
