@whynotcode okay so you know one line and you repeat it, completely unable to answer the actual point I'm bringing up.
I don't care if you are a good programmer. Anything requires a skilled team and not every skilled person bothered to outdo the competition, many just so happened to have steady and powerful early steps in an internship or smaller projects.
As a programmer you are doomed to work with other programmers and you both want and need skilled programmers around you. Not carrying about the security of these early steps is like shooting yourself on the foot or uploading "lone wolf" images unironically on every social media you own and thinking you are above everyone else.
Going back to the starting point, no self respected "veteran" goes through this subject without mentioning regulations no matter their individual skill.
I work in the medical industry and no amount of skill will ever teach you software integration that is locked behind closed doors, this is how the industry likes to operate. When I get AI code instead of interns, I know that I will want to curt Cobain myself down five years from now because none will be able to pick up a coding system that is not available to the public outside of working in this industry.
