Honestly during the pandemic, when people were hopeless and without much to do at home, they turned to art, movies and books... and now they spit on our faces. What brings me some sort of comfort is that even in the AI art community, it seems that a decent amount of them dislike those who think they're suddenly artists or devalue artists themselves. Literally nobody likes these people, they're just loud and annoying. So us artists actually have a chance at stopping this. AI art can be used as a tool, sure, but at the cost of other artists' hard work being unwillingly ripped away from them? Then businesses innocently come and profit off unethical AI art... Hell fucking no, there NEED to be restrictions. Now it's artists that suffer, later it's other job areas, we don't want anyone being disrespectful of anyone's hard work and AI is going to always, always be evolving, so we need to start fighting for restrictions now.
