@inakiballesterospolloni3436 That's valid, AIs don't have understanding so it doesn't meet the threshold for minimum expertise.
That has an interesting implication: that a masterpiece created by accident (like someone accidentally perfectly knocking over a paint can on a canvas) isn't art because the person making the mistake didn't understand what they were doing, and have no expertise in knocking over paint cans.
What about the person using the AI? Certainly not if you consider the creator to be the ai, but I wouldn't consider that the creator.
A code compiler works in a similar way to an ai. A programmer gives it code, it scrambles the code, feeds it to the computer, and out pops code. But the programmer is who we give credit to for making the final product. By that logic, the person using the AI is who should get the credit for creating the product. Same logic as a screenprint maker setting up the print, and getting credit for it even though the screen tool is what's making the art.
I think the AI isn't creating art, but the person using it is.
