From the interview it didn't sound like 'AI having feelings' was his primary concern, he was just using that as a way to gain traction on his real concerns with the media.(e.g. ability of small clandestine groups to effectively control the underlying ethics and decision/virtue hierarchies of systems that the global population will increasingly filter all their access to information through, etc.)
