@kerwynpk so you see, ai works entirely off of images made by real artists, all compiled in a database. Every image is tagged with a term, that tells the ai, "this is what this object looks like." Therefore, everything it puts out is just repuposed images that are passed off as something new. Similar to tracing to pass art off as your own without you actually creating anything.
Tldr, they both steal art and attempt to pass it off as something new and original
