I'm in a similar situation. I started coding when I was 12 and now I'm in my mid-20s. But AI code doesn't bother me much. I do love coming up with creative solutions to problems, but oftentimes, AI sucks at finding the creative solutions that I can. AI just spits out guesses and can really only write functional code if you ask it for something short and sweet. As it is, people who use AI to code are either just using it to speed up the easy parts or they're doing it wrong and have to spend hours trying to figure out how to fix what the LLM spat out
