@darylfoster7944 that still won’t eliminate accidents. Because the issue isnt who’s driving specifically- it’s the human component. Humans *will* make mistakes. But if all cars on the road were autonomous? That would not only drop the accident rate to almost 0, but it would also eliminate traffic on the fwy. The only reason certain bits of the fwy have traffic is because of humans merging and switching lanes at the last second and causing phantom traffic - which is why usually after you pass a “busy” interchange traffic magically clears up as if there wasnt anything there.
