@TheTimecake I very much personally and rationally agree. Unfortunately impossible is theoretical. Additionally, it may be that our current trajectory is towards extinction irrespective of our attempts to create AI, it may be that the only way to survive is through the creation of more capablities. This is not intended to be an argument either way, just an acknowledgement of perspective. The trouble is quantifying any of these probabilities is by definition immeasurable. At the end of the day this truly does seem to me to revolve around control (or the perception of it anyway)
