That’s a great question but in reality no one can predict the future. In my opinion, due to the lack of infrastructure, limited use of AI, and government regulations... I don’t think so.
I don’t think trucks will be fully automated and out on the road for 10-15+ years. Even when trucks are fully automated, I believe drivers will still need to be hired to sit inside the truck and monitor everything.
Again, in my opinion, I don’t think you need to worry. If you’re on the path to getting your CDL, I say go for it!
