@SgtSerpendo I was through high school and university, but it was only ever a hobby.
I wouldn’t care if my work was pushed aside for something computer generated because art should be for your own enjoyment, not a source of income.
The only point you people make is that I should care that human was behind the creation… well I don’t care and I know im not alone. A good product is a good product no matter who was behind it.
Many art careers will vanish because they are not as efficient as technology for producing commercialized work. Story board artists, character and background sketch artists, concept artists, and graphic designers will lose out to AI and the few artist jobs remaining will be for quality control. Their job is no more secure than telephone switch operators were - it’s progress. The argument that art is somehow special in a commercial setting won’t work
