@OnlyTAS what is vision if not pattern recognition in images? The main problem is that the images are not probably labeled by humans as well as corrective feedback during training that enables to correct errors.
Right not it is similar to a toddler you never correct when the toddler points at the sky and says "green". Once that is achieved, they will learn better.
However the diffusion based AIs (as well as the LLM) are still to random and uncontroled in their structure. Luckily many different projects try to reconstruct brains (out of different angels (a few days ago the compleate brain of a fruitfly was remodeled in a PC as example), just one needs to succeed) . Once that is done, we can use a digital version of a visual cortex and use that knowledge to improve the tech.
