@larslarsen5414 They make most of their money by providing infrastructure (cloud servers etc) to businesses.
AI is also infrastructure by making businesses pay for the services running in the background. Even though an AI startup may be european, they probably still use OpenAI (Microsoft) services and pay them a lot of money.
Even some states like denmark use american tech-company infrastructure.
EU regulation makes it almost impossible to develop domestic alternatives. It's creating its own dependency issues.
