@tomsmith8641 That is literally how AI softwares work. There's no art being created. It takes art from other artists and basically mixes then and creates a collage. AI is stealing artwork because the artwork used to train the AI was stolen illegally from the artists. Go look up what happened to Loish and how her work appeared in mid journey including her watermark showing up on Midjourney prompts. Also lookup what happened to the recent Pokemon art contest where a user submitted AI art. When people reverse searched the image they were able to find the original artists behind the art. You're the one who doesn't understand how AI art works. It doesn't do anything better than actual humans. It makes several mistakes because it basically makes a collage out of pics. A human understands what a hand is and we can draw the hand properly, but the AI doesn't know what a hand is. According to AI the hand is a set of images with the tag "hand" on it. Which explains why AI messed up hands, it has no idea a hand has 4 fingers and a thumb. Speaking of artists "stealing" others work. No we don't. Lmao. Yes there have been incidets when artists have traced someone else's work etc however those artists have been called out and there have been lawsuits. We artists use actual imagination. If you see my art, I haven't copied anything from any artist. AI art making photos is equal to a chef going to random restaurants, stealing their food, combining all the food together and then claiming that he cooked it 🤡🤡
