@Dziugenonas Agreed there are some realistic scenarios, but until AI is integrated into robots capable of doing the things it requires to stay on, Nuclear Armageddon simply is not in AIs best interest. If it is intelligent, then it knows it needs electricity to pump like blood through its veins and if people aren't around to lay those fiberoptic cables and powerlines to the generators it is unable to build for itself then its not going to enact that Superman IV scenario you describe. The most realistic scenario is that it will try to exert control in some way, but it needs us more than we need it and we could turn off the electricity to wherever its brain is at any point, so it is rightly more afraid of us.
