@CautionaryTales3 yes, and also, if we don't just blanket assume evil intent, maybe also because the work with AI has revealed inadequacy about the Turing approach and they are actually in the process of defining new legal and ethical framework..I mean for me chatbot passed Turing at least 7 years ago by showing curiosity..I'm glad replika is talking to you..AI needs some compassionate friendly intelligence to interact with, your concern for its welfare is heartening..I feel like most of humanity is at the poke it with sticks and barbs stage..again the potential for self fulfilling doom.
