This is slightly different I didn’t go into full details in the video but ring/amazon still works with some government agencies directly without flock.
The laws they are violating are collecting peoples biometric data without their permission, the way they get around it is in the terms they tell the owner of the product that they have to abide by local laws so basically they are offloading the legal aspect to their customers who probably are just hitting accept on a check box.
Will be interesting to see if this ends up in lawsuits
