@smartistepicness, that is not why. The question about copyright ownership of of AI images is because ownership goes to the creator. There is an unanswered legal question of whether the creator is the machine programer, the prompt writer or maybe even the machine itself. It just hasn't been litigated yet. It has nothing to do with how the machine was trained. If you photograph me, you own the right to the photo, not me.
