@alejandrinos I think part of what makes art great is knowing what goes into it. Knowing what emotions and ideas drove a particular author to make certain decisions and that is something I don't think AI could ever replicate. But beyond that. To me personally I will never enjoy AI art. Even the sloppiest non-ai content will be better, for example those 1000 degree knife videos. Knowing a guy had to get out of bed and heat up a knife then set up his camera to record it is part of the fun. An AI version is just meaningless to me. That's just a guy on his ass writing prompts I get no joy from that. Lastly to answer the question more directly. In my uneducated opinion I don't think it's too much of a cope. While I do think AI has the possibility to improve in a technical aspect. To the degree it becomes indistinguishable from real video. I don't think it will ever be able to create emotional stories that genuinely convey ideas in a meaningful way. At its core AI is a regurgitation machine, anything it has to say will be something somebody has said before but worse. But if some sad miracle it does develop that ability. I still wouldn't like it for the other reasons I mentioned above.
