From professional application and my own review, the most feasible and impressive target market is developers and ones who are experienced already. LLM AI is an incredible tool in the hands of someone already knowledgeable about how best to employ it in a technical context. But it's a generator in need of already skilled editors. I do like the C.R.A.P. acronym I saw in the comments. 👀 And that's why I think a skilled someone could use AI along their way... If they felt like it. Is it inevitable? I don't know and nobody does. Who knows what that even means. Death and taxes make good headlines when the word is bandied about. AI art?. Not so much. I just know that when I've used AI for anything it's only been marginally useful generally and only with careful application. In some applications it has been excellent. Will it pay for itself? Progress? Well, but without massive continued investment. Should it? Who knows. I just know that by the time I want a professional graphical presence in already looking at artists for art rather than a prompt. There's just too little guarantee of quality, consistency or longevity in AI imagery, whereas after finding a trusted artist you're getting guidance and real world intelligence beyond mere machine obedience. Sometimes having someone tell you what you want ... Eg fingers made of butter... Is weird, is more valuable than even the final image. 😂 As a further example, want branding for your new air purifier company? Seeing some clouds between two hills for a logo and the name "Far Trails" is something thus far only a human is going to pull you up on. And you will want to be pulled up...
